Wine Friends RESCHEDULED


TUESDAY, October 7th - 6:00 p.m. - Our 44th WINE FRIENDS TASTING.  Help us pick future Wine Friends Selections. All wines are everyday priced at $8.99 or less. Good wines, maybe even a great surprise. A fun way to get into learning more about wine. Tasting is one hour in length, so join us before dinner. $5 per person. Limited to 20 places - RESERVATIONS PLEASE - 984-9463

 

AAGF&W Dinner RESCHEDULED CORRECTION

MONDAY, October 13th - 7:00 p.m. - Association for Affordable Great Food & Wine known as the A.A.G.F.& W. invites you to a Wine Dinner at the Glendale Gaslight Café, Congress Avenue in Glendale.  Chef/owner Jim Garrison will prepare this wonderful menu.  Join us for an early in the week treat.

Sauteed Artichoke Hearts & Shrimp
An old favorite with a twist.  Sauteed Artichoke Hearts, Garlic and Jumbo Shrimp with a splash of Lemon Juice. - Oberon Sauvignon Blanc 2006, Napa Valley

Caesar Salad
Crisp Romaine Lettuce, Parmasean Cheese, Croutons and our authentic Caesar Dressing. - Tapeña Garnacha 2006, Tierra del Castillo

Salmon Picatta
Lighly breaded Salmon topped with a light Lemon, Caper, White Wine Sauce. - Yangarra Chardonnay 2006, McLaren Vale

Fall/Holiday Wine & Food Fest
SATURDAY, November 15th - 2 - 6 p.m. - FALL/HOLIDAY WINE & FOOD FEST. Help us celebrate 10 years of ownership and over 20 years serving Cincinnati. Take a break from the yard work with an afternoon of tasting and grazing. Two wine and beer sessions with the same format used for every Wine & Food Fest. 2-4 p.m. - Taste from a selection of wines and beers; 4-6 p.m.- Taste from a new selection of wines and beers. 4 tastes for $3. A number of our suppliers will have a wide variety of gourmet foods and imported and domestic cheese available for tasting from 2:00-6:00 p.m.  Come in and join the fun!

WIne Bar Tastings
Wine Bar Tastings every Friday and Saturday - $.50 a taste
Fridays - taste with John, our wine-bar-keep, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Saturdays - Wine Bar open from 2:00-6:00 p.m.
